Employee Appreciation Week 2024
At Safetec, we believe in celebrating our team’s hard work and dedication. This year’s Employee Appreciation Week was kicked off with a lively cornhole tournament, and we enjoyed sundaes and milkshakes from Green Acres ice cream truck. Our cultural buffet lunch was a hit, bringing together diverse flavors from some of the countries our employees are from. We also had a mouthwatering chicken BBQ, relaxing massages, and plenty of sweet treats like candy.

Pride Celebration June 2023
What better way to wrap up this month than with laughter, merriment, and Pride celebrations?! Each department showed off its colors to create its own Safetec Rainbow, and then we took a refreshing morning break for a scrumptious waffle breakfast.
Chicken BBQ
Spring has sprung here in Buffalo! June 1st was employee appreciation day at Safetec! To celebrate the strength and resilience of our dedicated team, Safetec hosted a pop-up BBQ chicken lunch complete with all the fixins. Thank you to each and every member of the Safetec team for your continued hard work!
Turkey Drive
For the 9th consecutive year, Safetec of America participated in our Full Plates, Thankful Hearts turkey drive program in connection with FeedMore WNY (formerly Food Bank of WNY) and raised a total of $10,000 and donated 62 turkeys! Giving back to the WNY area and helping make the holidays a little brighter for those in need within our community is something our company and employees took great pride in, especially due to this year’s unforeseen COVID-19 pandemic.
Oktoberfest
Hold on to your lederhosen! Safetec of America celebrated Oktoberfest with an employee appreciation pop-up event on October 14th. With live music and Scott, our CEO & President, mastering the grill, smiles were had by all. We even walked away with new Safetec baseball caps! Thank you, Safetec, for another fun-filled employee appreciation event!
Bills Day
Fall in WNY means ONE thing… Buffalo Bills Football! The Safetec team showed off their Bills pride to celebrate the season opener!
Spring Pop-Up Event
As a nice welcome to the warm weather and to thank everyone for their hard work, Safetec treated all employees with lunch from our favorite food trucks: Street Eats and Pizza Amoré. As an added surprise, each employee was gifted a Safetec Carhartt hoodie and a tee shirt!
Meals
Throughout the pandemic, Safetec wanted to help show support to other local businesses impacted by the state-wide shutdowns while also showing appreciation for the hard work Safetec employees displayed as essential workers. Family dinners were purchased and provided to employees to share with their loved ones from Osteria 166.
Diversity Award
In early 2020, Safetec was awarded the Buffalo Business First I.D.E.A. Award for creating a diverse and inclusive workforce. Members of the Safetec team attended the banquet and accepted the award.
Employee Appreciation Month 2021
Our team is the lifeblood of Safetec’s vision and mission, so we wanted our employee appreciation event to be a month-long celebration! All Safetec team members were treated to massages, food trucks, treats, a cornhole tournament, the prize wheel, and so much more!
