Controller / IT and Human Resources
You may not have guessed it, but Pauline is not from around here. She grew up on the Caribbean island of Antigua and after years of working in the hotel industry, decided to pursue her interest in computer technology. She attended Hunter College in New York City, where she received her BA degree in Computer Science in 1996 and traveled back to Antigua to work for the West Indies Cricket Board. At that time, they were looking to fill a position in their Accounting department and have someone help set up an inter-office network.
In 2004 she accepted a position in the Accounting department at Safetec. Within two short years, she was promoted to Controller, where she currently manages and oversees Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Accounting. And if that were not enough, she has also assumed the role of the IT expert for the entire company and consistently is making sure things are running smoothly daily.
Outside of work, Pauline enjoys embarking on new adventures. These adventures now include hot air ballooning, parasailing, jet-skiing, zip-lining, and 4-wheeling. This island girl has even tried bunny hill skiing. In her downtime, she enjoys reading, solving jigsaw puzzles, biking, and long walks.
