Diane Heerdt

Diane Heerdt joined Safetec in May 2026 as Quality Assurance Supervisor, bringing more than 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality and regulatory compliance. In her role, Diane oversees daily Quality Assurance activities, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and helps ensure Safetec products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Throughout her career, she has built extensive expertise in quality systems, GMP compliance, quality assurance operations, and regulatory oversight. Her professional experience has equipped her with a strong ability to evaluate situations objectively, drive quality-focused decision-making, and serve as a trusted voice for quality within an organization. Before joining Safetec, Diane held quality-focused positions with several pharmaceutical manufacturers throughout Western New York, including DNY, Inc., Athenex Solutions, and Pine Pharmaceuticals. Across these roles, she supported quality assurance programs, regulatory compliance efforts, and operational excellence initiatives that helped maintain product quality and meet industry standards.

Diane was drawn to Safetec because of the company’s collaborative culture, aligned values, and opportunities for professional growth. She enjoys working alongside experienced team members who share a commitment to quality and continuous improvement and is excited to contribute to Safetec’s mission of delivering high-quality products to customers.

Outside of work, Diane enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, baking, dining out, and watching her favorite television series. She is also a proud grandmother of two grandchildren, Avery Mae and Kaden, who keep her busy and bring her great joy.
