Chemistry Administrative Assistant
Edie joined Safetec in August 2025, bringing together a love for science and years of administrative expertise. They earned a B.A. in Theatre and Performance with a minor in Chemistry from SUNY Purchase College, combining lab skills with the ability to collaborate and adapt in any environment.
Before Safetec, Edie worked in Client Services at the Greater Buffalo Gymnastics Center—where they were once a student. They have also performed as an actor and musician with Shakespeare in Delaware Park. In their role at Safetec, they enjoy keeping operations organized while staying connected to the hands-on world of chemistry.
Outside of work, Edie can often be found horseback riding, drawing, or working backstage in Buffalo’s theater scene as a stage or property manager. They’re also a flutist and have a fascination with 17th- and 18th-century piracy.
