Safetec of America had a noteworthy year in 2024, earning recognition from Buffalo Business First for both its business standing and manufacturing operations. In addition to appearing on four regional business rankings, Safetec received the 2024 Manufacturing Award for Operational Excellence.
Manufacturing Excellence and Business Recognition
Safetec earned the following rankings in Buffalo Business First’s 2024 lists:
- No. 20– Top Private Companies in Buffalo
- No. 14– Fast Track Companies in Buffalo
- No. 47– Manufacturing Companies in Buffalo
- No. 10– Life Science Companies in Buffalo
Safetec was also honored with Buffalo Business First’s 2024 Manufacturing Award for Operational Excellence. The award recognized the company’s use of technology to improve manufacturing productivity.
In early 2024, Safetec completed the installation of a new 500-gallon batching tank for antibiotic cream production, representing a $500,000 investment. The new equipment doubled batch size, improved production efficiency, and reduced chemistry testing costs. Safetec was also implementing a new enterprise resource planning system to further improve its operations.
These accomplishments reflect the dedication of Safetec’s employees and the company’s ongoing commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
