Since moving to the Global Supply Chain team at my company as a Buyer back in May of 2021, one of the first vendors I was given to work with was Safetec. My first week in the role, I met Bob Ehms and have spoken with him almost weekly since then, whether we needed to or not. We’ve experienced many obstacles together due to COVID, supply chain issues, staffing, material shortages, etc. At one point, many of the items we purchased from Safetec were on backorder. This can often cause alarm, but I knew from speaking with Bob that the Safetec team was on it. Before taking this role, I was a production supervisor, so I am familiar with these issues and what it takes to overcome them. I knew that it would take an incredible effort to get back on top.
