In early 2021 Safetec installed a brand new high-output tube filling machine, validated using cGMP protocols, to supply distribution and retail customers.
Tubes deliver a lot of bang for the buck as a highly eco-friendly packaging solution that can be produced quickly as compared to other packaging options.
Safetec’s tube machine enhances our capabilities by allowing for custom profiles, striping, swirl filling options, and multiple closure styles for plastic and metal tubes. With speeds up to 50 tubes per minute, Safety can take on turnkey and custom formulations of creams, lotions, gels, liquids, and ointments.
Our in-house Research & Development team is continuously adding custom formulas to our growing catalog for our customers to bring unique products to market. If you can’t find the right formula, our product development team will work with you to craft a custom formulation!

Safetec’s Tube Filling Capabilities
Safetec’s ever growing technology, techniques, and materials have made squeeze tubes much more versatile, allowing many different types and sizes of squeeze tubes for a more extensive range of products.
With our added tube filling capabilities, we are thrilled to offer on-site filling for tubes, ranging from 0.5 oz to 4 oz that measure 3/8” to 2-3/8” in diameter. If you’re looking for a tube outside our standard size offerings, options are available at an additional cost.
To further make your product stand out on the market, we offer you the ability to customize the closure of your tube with different seals. Our tube machine’s hot air closure system provides multiple plastic tube closure configurations including straight, curved, rounded corners, and custom profiles.
Our new lot code and expiration date embossing technology allows us to emboss the tube’s seal, leaving valuable real estate open for your artwork. The tube machine’s pressure pump is designed to handle a wide viscosity of creams, while the weight and seal integrity check station ensure the highest quality of the finished product.
As the tubes go through the manufacturing process, Safetec has expanded our designated pack-out area, which improves our packaging capabilities and allows us to accommodate any retailer specifications.
