Safetec of America, Inc. Announces Expansion with Purchase of 55 Msgr Valente Dr.
Buffalo, NY: Safetec of America, Inc. is excited to announce a $7 million investment for additional warehouse space and new equipment to meet the rising demand for the company’s products with the purchase of 55 Monsignor Valente Drive. Since the start of 2020, Safetec has added over 50 jobs to the WNY area and is not slowing down hiring anytime soon. The company plans to make further investments in talent in the back half of the year, adding at least 10-20 more employees to the Safetec family.
Safetec’s expansion plans, underway in 2020, include production, distribution, shipping, and warehousing to support its rapid growth and surge in requests for infection control products. The purchase of the former US Post Office enables Safetec to free up space in the main manufacturing facility by moving finished goods and raw materials to the new site, making room for the four new pieces of equipment purchased within the past year.

This purchase comes after the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic and an increased uptick in orders for our infection control products. The addition of the new facility and machinery will allow Safetec to increase capacity, output, and finished goods inventory while helping meet the rising needs of customers. With 2021 right around the corner, Safetec will be continuing to build upon this recent expansion with the purchase of more equipment and plans for future growth with all three buildings.
